UV Sterilisers

A UV sterilizer is a water filtration device that uses ultraviolet light bulb to kill free floating microscopic organisms in both freshwater and saltwater.

Many parasites, viruses, waterborne pathogens, algae and bacteria are eliminated after passing through a UV steriliser. When using a U.V. steriliser in your tropical or marine aquarium it is recommended that you place it last in the filtration line, first utilising a mechanical filter to remove solids to attain maximum operational efficiency it is also suggested to do this if using one on your freshwater pond.
