Pink Kissing Gourami
Pink Kissing Gourami are a great addition to a large tropical, freshwater aquarium. They are community fish so go well with other similar sized fish. They grow large so be cautious with tank mates and aquarium size. When the Gourami are kissing they are normally fighting, this is between two males. The weaker will usually back down.
Approx. size: 6-8cm
Maximum size: 30cm
Ideal number kept together: 3+
pH: 6.0 – 8.0
Temperature: 22 – 28 °C
Ease of care
Easy. No special requirements as they are a hardy fish, just a large aquarium. They are surface breathers so will need access.
Mainly flake or pellets however they can have small live or frozen foods like Daphnia or Bloodworm.
Community of similar size. It is always recommended to have 2 females to every 1 male of the Orange Thick Lip Gourami.
Moderate. They are egg layers that create bubble nests so need a slow water flow so the nest is not damaged.
They can live to anything from 18-25 years in perfect conditions.

They are subsequently transported to a retail shop, and further transported to your home aquaria. A total of 4 points of transit.
By ordering via our website, your fish will only make 3 journeys. Importation > Quarantine > Your Aquaria.
