Description
Red Cap Oranda Fancy Goldfish
The Red Cap Oranda Fancy Goldfish is a great companion to other Fancy Goldfish. They have a distinctive look because of their large red cap (wen), shimmering white scales and split tale. They are social animals so best kept in groups in a large coldwater aquarium.

Flake & sinking pellets are best. High Protein fish food when they are breeding. Sinking Pellets are best to help prevent swim bladder issues.

Community with other peaceful Fancy Goldfish and bottom feeders such as a Borneo Loach in cold water tanks. They will eat most live plants.

Moderate. They are egg layers and breed best when in groups as they are very social.

They can live up to 10-15 Years in perfect conditions. To view the Compatibility Advisory Chart please select the Additional Tab above.
